#FEMUN_WINNERS: Egor Klimovich
Far Eastern Model UN is a unique event which can change the lives of its participants. However, the Conference is simply a tool – it is up to people themselves to use it in order to become better persons and create their stories of success.
Thus, we are happy to introduce to you a series of interviews with the people who were able to use the above-mentioned tool in the right direction – the winners of FEMUN 2017!The first person to be interviewed among the members of the team of winners of the Far Eastern Model UN 2017 is Mr. Egor Klimovich, USG for Conference Management of FEMUN 2018.
1. What did you expect from FEMUN 2017?
“First of all, FEMUN 2017 was the opportunity to challenge myself: the previous Model UN conference inspired me not to give up and move forward to a new achievement. Far Eastern Model UN 2017 was the chance to prove that I possess to do something really cool. And I did, I think.”
2. How was it in reality?
“For real, I didn't expect that such an event can be so interesting and unforgettable: lots of information, communication, plenty of new friends and the feeling of the constant process of self-development. Moreover, it is cool to mention the Cultural Program with its glorious views of the beautiful city of Vladivostok, and, of course, the Ballet.”
3. How many sleepless nights did you have during preparation for the Conference?
“For me, it was really new - work for more than 18 hours per day. Totally, before the beginning of the Conference, I had about a week of sleepless nights. Nevertheless, this is the greatest experience I had.”
4. SC or GA? Why?
“I will be very unpredictable - the Security Council. Taking into account that I was a GA delegate during 3 of 4 conferences I participated in, I would say that, yes, the Security Council is better. The answer is pretty simple - this is the hard way of development. I believe, the harder the way - the better the results.”
5. What can you say to the participants of FEMUN 2018?
“To the delegates of FEMUN 2018, I would say that for right now it is a high time to start your development (if you didn't!) and do your best during the upcoming Conference! Enjoy the process!”
