#FEMUN_WINNERS: Ekaterina Sadovskaia

The Far Eastern Model UN 2018 takes place in a less than a month, hence, everyone is busy with the preparation for the upcoming event. Notwithstanding, none of us should forget about at least a minute of the rest – we propose to spend it reading one more story by the winner of FEMUN 2017.

Please, welcome, Ms. Ekaterina Sadovskaia.

1. What did you expect from FEMUN 2017?

«To tell the truth, I didn't want to win the Conference. My first target was only to gain new experience, to deepen my knowledge on the agenda and simply to have fun. The fact is the UN4MUN format was not familiar to me, so, it was hard to make any expectations.»

2. How was it in reality?

«In reality, I was appointed as a Chairperson of the committee and the days of the Conference were a bright and unique flow of exclusive opportunities. I had a chance to have a personal training with a true professional - Mr. William Yotive whose level of knowledge about the UN4MUN procedure and the work in the UN is incomparable. During the Conference I faced unexpected difficulties which were to be solved in a short period of time, so, it was the same stressful as motivating.»

3. How many sleepless nights did you have during preparation for the Conference?

«Maybe, something about 2 weeks of destructed sleeping hours and crazy schedule before the Conference.»

4. SC or GA? Why?

«Always GA. The explanation is also simple - I am not a warrior. The peaceful ambiance of joint work and cooperation in GA makes me vote for this committee.»

5. What can you say to the participants of FEMUN 2018?

«I heard this phrase only one or two times from alumni of MUNRFE and I do believe they are people we can trust and rely on. This phrase is "HAVE FUN"! Unfortunately, this is the thought the majority of delegates always forget about. Guys, relax and have fun!»
