"That's the G-Falcon!"
-Lance
Our first all space episode for After War Gundam X and it didn't turn out well for Garrod at all. It seems the colony government holds a lot of stock in the word Newtype. Too bad it seems that Tiffa's existence is an inconvenience for them. We also get our first look at the Jamille's old rival, Lance. While it seems that Jamille sealed his abilities away, Lance lost his. He still appears to be a very capable pilot though.
Poor Garrod. It was a good thing he scouted the bridge and tried to escape before they locked him up and took the Gundam. But he took a hell of a beating and by all rights should be dead. Now who the hell was that girl that saved him?!
The colony is using religion as a tool for conquering the Earth as they say they're the Noah Ark. It's pretty interesting, since governments already did this in our history.
I thought Garrod would awaken as a Newtype, but it wasn't that time. Well, I hope it happens!
This arc is getting very interesting! I wonder who is that girl and what do the people on that ship they went do. Probably a space Vulture, haha!
Lancerow Dawell looks like a weird combination of Treize and Chronicle Asher, is about as bland as they come too, though part of is the VA they hired to do him is not really that good. Though I love he just basically nearly kills Garrod and Garrod has to be last minute saved by some random girl up there. That's basically Garrod a lot in this show it seems.
We meet also our bland Gihren Zabi knockoff named Rasso who again like Lancerow is pretty ugh. Part of it again is the VA who doesn't do this character any justice or instill anything into him.
Garrod really was beaten up in this episode, still a very cool space fight.
I wonder who is the girl in the G-Falcon, the savior of Garrod.
Interesting the use of religion of the colonies, like a propaganda to conquer the earth.
